This course is designed to introduce the basic electronic commerce business models and technologies and tools for building e-commerce applications. Business and web site design issues related to the development of e-commerce web site will be addressed. Basic tools such as HTML, Dynamic HTML and JavaScript, Flash, ColdFusion (for server-side scripting and Web database integration), as well as XML (an Internet standard for data interchange) will be introduced.
